The data center sector saw more than 10 deals worth over a billion U.S. dollars between 2021 and 2023. During that period, the biggest deal with a reported valuation was KKR's acquisition of CyrusOne, worth approximately 15.5 billion U.S. dollars. Two other deals surpassed the 10 billion threshold - the acquisition of Switch by Digital Bridge and IFM, and CoreSite by American Tower.
