According to a survey conducted in South Korea by Opensurvey in May 2023, about 59 percent of the respondents who owned smart home appliances did not utilize their smart functions as they found manual control to be more convenient. More than a third replied that they did not own enough smart home appliances to warrant syncing them with an app or device.
