*** Adults who formerly smoked who quit smoking for ≥6 months during the past year among adults who currently smoke cigarettes (and have smoked for ≥2 years) and adults who quit smoking during the past year.
Current smoking was defined as having ever smoked at least 100 cigarettes and currently smoking every day or some days. Former smoking was defined as having ever smoked at least 100 cigarettes and not currently smoking.
