After a peak in Amazon's and Netflix's non-U.S. originated commissions in the third quarter of 2023, the share of TV shows and movies that these streaming providers produced outside their home market declined in the first three months of 2024. During that period, 68 percent of Netflix's productions and 71 percent of Amazon's productions were not commissioned in the U.S.
