Number of VC fintech investments in Germany 2013-2023

The number of venture capital (VC) fintech investments in Germany increased significantly between 2013 and 2021, peaking in 2021 with 245 VC deals. After that, investment activity declined gradually, with the number of investment deals dropping to 144 in 2023, the lowest since 2016.
