As of April 2024, 69 percent of the Israeli public were either extremely or very worried about the prolonging war in Gaza. On the other hand, only nine percent of respondents were not concerned about the duration of the war. Similarly, many Israelis were concerned about the expanding geographical scope of the war.
Israeli public concern about the length of time the war in Gaza will continue in 2024
The survey was conducted during a period of escalating conflict along the Israel-Lebanon border, but prior to a mid-April large-scale Iranian missile attack.
Survey results reflected to what extent Israelis are concerned about the war lasting a long time.Â

The margin of error is 4 percent.
The survey interviews were conducted in both Hebrew and Arabic languages. The survey included an oversample of Arab Israelis and was subsequently weighted to reflect a representative sample of the adult population of Israel. The sample excluded East Jerusalem and Israeli settlements in the West Bank.
