Budget for electric vehicle purchase in India 2024

In an April 2024 survey conducted in India regarding electric vehicle purchases, approximately 55 percent of respondents expressed a willingness to spend eight to 10 lakh Indian rupees on an electric vehicle, while 13 percent were prepared to spend 15 to 20 lakhs. Respondents in the same survey also stated contributing to a cleaner environment as a key reason for switching to electric vehicles.
