Primary motivations for taking a road trip in the U.S. 2024

A 2024 survey among drivers in the U.S. revealed that the leading reason why they took road trips was to see new landscapes and scenery, with 50 percent of respondents saying so. Meanwhile, 43 percent of respondents said listening to music was their primary reason for taking a road trip.
