Total number of new electric cars in Israel 2023, by manufacturing country

In 2023, almost 32,000 new Chinese-made electric vehicles were registered in Israel. This amounted to 64 percent of all new EVs registered that year. Germany and South Korea were the second and third-largest suppliers of EVs, exporting about 6,300 and 5,800 cars respectively. Since 2020, the number of electric cars in the country has grown rapidly. BYD, Geely and Tesla were among the leading EV brands.
