With streaming services increasingly tapping into sports coverage, Amazon made huge deals recently. For the upcoming season 2024-2025, the e-commerce giant accounted for one third of the UEFA Champions League (UCL) media rights in the UK and in Italy. Meanwhile, the share of rights to the English Premier League by Amazon amounted to nearly two percent.
