In 2023, Google used 34 percent of recycled or renewable plastic for their manufactured consumer hardware products, down from 41 percent in 2022. This change was due to the company's change in their product mix. Google's target is to have recycled or renewable material in at least 50 percent of the plastic used in their consumer hardware products by 2025.
