In 2023, two right-wing terrorist plots were uncovered in Germany. This was significantly less than in 2022 when seven such plans were recorded. This was a peak in terrorist action within this time period. Most of the uncovered cases were still in the abstract stage, in which the necessary operational preparations for carrying out the offense and/or defining the targets of the attack had not yet been completed. The last actual act of right-wing terrorism was recorded in 2020.
