The consumer confidence index is an average of the four scaled survey questions detailed below. The relative consumer confidence index is derived from the standard consumer confidence index.
Survey Questions:
A. The extent of change in the household finances in the last 12 months
B. The expected change in the household finances in the next 12 months
C. The expected change in the economic situation in Israel in the next 12 months
D. Intentions to make large purchases, such as furniture and electric appliances, in the next 12 months compared to the last 12 months.
