In 2023, Brazilian banking-as-a-service startup, QI Tech, raised almost 200 million U.S. dollars in a Series B round, making it the largest fintech deal in the country. It was followed by Nomad, a fintech that allows Brazilians to open bank accounts in the U.S., ranked second, with a fundraising value of 61 million U.S. dollars.
