In 2021, stomatological hospitals in China received more than 51 million patient visits, representing a steep rise of more than 11 million from the previous year. Patient visits to hospitals and clinics for dental and oral medicine have increased significantly in the last few years, largely due to the growing awareness of oral hygiene among the Chinese population.
