In a survey conducted in July and August 2023, over 60 percent of respondents in Southeast Asia stated that their government either did not give enough attention or did not allocate sufficient resources to counteract climate change. In contrast, close to 25 percent of the respondents in the region stated that their government treated climate change as an urgent priority.
