When asked about their preferred method for returning an item ordered online in the past 12 months, 45 percent of Italian shoppers chose the courier pickup returns policy. In Germany, a similar percentage preferred the online self-service option, where customers return items by mail. Among the surveyed countries, shoppers in the United States, Canada, and Australia showed a greater preference for in-store returns.
