In 2023, there was a notable disparity in the consumption of cold cuts in Italy, varying according to age groups. Individuals aged 14 to 17 had the highest consumption rate, with a share of 72.8 percent of consumers eating such products, whereas children aged between three and five had the lowest consumption rate at 45.3 percent. Also, those aged 75 and over had a relatively low consumption rate at 52.7 percent.
