U.S. views on who should influence LGBTQ-related school policies 2023
According to a survey conducted in 2023, 48 percent of Americans believed that parents of school children should have a great deal of influence in deciding how to set school policy concerning discussion of LGBTQ people in the United States. In comparison, 25 percent believed that teachers should have a great deal of influence on LGBTQ-related school policies while 21 percent believed that local school boards should have a great deal of influence on such policies.
