By the end of 2023, Reddit reported having 2,013 full-time employees, as well as around 60,000 volunteer moderators active on the platforms daily. Moderators are not employees of Reddit. After almost 20 years from its launch, Reddit filed its S-1 income registration statement on February 22, 2024. The online forum and news aggregator is preparing to go public with a recommended valuation of approximately five billion U.S. dollars, after generating around 800 million U.S. dollars in revenues in 2023.
