Greece's National Energy and Climate Plan (NECP) sets a target of 44 percent of renewables in gross final energy consumption by 2030. Countries in the European Union must reach a renewable energy consumption share of at least 42.5 percent by 2030, as established in the EU's Renewable Energy Directive.
