According to a survey of internet users in the United Kingdom (UK), the majority of respondents across all age groups examined reported they had not been prompted before to verify their age online, even when accessing pornographic websites. Among those who had reported having accessed pornographic content online, approximately eight in 10 respondents aged between 65 and 74 years reported never been asked to verify their age online.
