According to a survey on homeownership in South Korea in January 2023, those in their 40s and those aged 60 years and older were most likely to answer that they should own their house despite an increase in property taxes among age groups. On average, around 61 percent of respondents agreed that they should own a home even in the case of higher property taxes.
