Twitch: global streaming video length 2023-2024, by audience size
In 2024, the duration of the live streams launched on Twitch experienced an overall increase compared to the previous year. Streamers that had an audience between 10,001 and 50,000 users made their Twitch sessions 15 percent longer than in 2023. In comparison, tiny accounts increased the length of their streaming sessions by almost 20 percent, generating streams of 9,766 seconds in 2023. Accounts with over 50,000 followers saw the length of their stream decrease, from 15,500 seconds in 2023, to 13,500 seconds - or 3.75 hours - in 2024.
