As of December 31, 2023, the United States had issued the highest cumulative value of sustainability bonds worldwide, amounting to over 80 billion U.S. dollars. Among the twelve countries listed, Thailand and China had the lowest value of sustainability debt issued, with approximately 13 billion and 16 billion U.S. dollars each. Also, sustainability bonds issued at a supranational level were worth nearly 290 billion U.S. dollars.
