As of December 31, 2023, France issued the highest value of social bonds worldwide, amounting to 200 billion U.S. dollars. Among the twelve countries listed, the United Kingdom (UK) and Italy had the lowest value of social debt issued, approximately nine billion and 12 billion U.S. dollars respectively. Also, social bonds issued at a supranational level were worth over 170 billion U.S. dollars.
