In a survey conducted in 2023, around five percent of securities holders in Japan reported using crowdfunding. While 19 percent were interested in using crowdfunding, the majority of respondents said they did not want to use or did not know the service.

The sample distribution is based on the results of the National Survey on Securities Investment (Individual Survey) conducted in FY2021, so that the overall figures reflect the actual status of securities holders in Japan in terms of gender and age.
