Global manifestations of resource nationalism 2023

According to 156 decision makers in the global mining and metals industry who participated in a survey from December 2022 to January 2023, a 28 percent share of the respondents expected that increased taxation would be the most likely manifestation of resource nationalism worldwide in 2023. Accounting for a further 23 percent of respondents was the expected resource nationalism manifestation of in-country beneficiation.
