Europe: self-storage operators' investment plans 2024

In 2024, website improvement was a priority for many self-storage operators in Europe. The proportion of self-storage operators for whom website improvement was on the priority list amounted to 71 percent. Internal process training was the second-most popular measure, chosen by 61 percent of operators. Building signage, CRM, and LED lighting were also among the enhancements that more than half of the operators intended to spend on. Interestingly, investing in Artificial Intelligence (AI) was among the future development plans of 30 percent of the operators.
