In 2024, consumers in the United States gave insight into the average amount of money they saved by purchasing medicine online rather than from traditional brick-and-mortar pharmacies. Around 27 percent of respondents said they saved around one to 20 U.S. dollars on medicine when they bought these products online. However, roughly 41 percent of respondents said that they do not save money due to the prices being the same as in physical stores. In comparison, approximately 10 percent of consumers stated that medication costs more online than in traditional pharmacies.
