In a survey conducted between October and December 2022, close to 29 percent of performers and stuntmen in Japan reported having experienced physical violence or yelling in the past. The same survey found that overall, 16 percent of respondents in the entertainment industry had been either punched, kicked, beaten or shouted at by someone at work.
