The reserves of potash in Canada, the country with the world's largest potash reserves, were estimated to be approximately 5.6 billion metric tons in 2023. The majority of this amount was comprised of recoverable potash ore at 4.5 billion metric tons, with the remaining 1.1 billion metric tons being K2O equivalent. Belarus had the world's second-largest potash reserves that year.
