During a survey among marketers in the United States published in the second half of 2024, approximately 59 percent reported usually or always purchasing digital out-of-home (DOOH) campaigns through direct buys only. Around 53 percent of respondents said they exclusively used programmatic buys. According to the same study, on average, 49 percent of global marketers bought DOOH programmatically only.
