In 2023, Chiapas was the Mexican state with the highest production value of coffee cherries, with an output of around 2.1 billion Mexican pesos. It was followed by the states of Veracruz, with around 1.9 billion, and Puebla, with around 1.7 billion Mexican pesos. That year, the total production value of coffee cherry reached over seven billion Mexican pesos.
As for production volume of coffee cherry, total production reached over one million metric tons, with Chiapas accounting for the largest production.
