In a survey conducted among financial advisors in Australia in 2023, 83 percent of respondents stated that their clients who used buy now, pay later services commonly used BNPL for general retail items, such as clothing or electrical goods. Around 71 percent of respondents stated their clients commonly used BNPL for food.
