Generation X had the highest spend on home renovations in the United States in 2023. The median spend of Gen Xers was 25,000 U.S. dollars, whereas millennials and seniors had a median spend of 20,000 U.S. dollars. Baby boomers were not only the generation with the second-highest spend, but also the one most likely to carry out renovations.
