During an April 2023 survey in the United States, 71 percent of Black respondents reported thinking that brands with a large target audience were either somewhat or very responsible for promoting diversity and inclusion. Among white and Hispanic interviewees, the share stood at 66 percent. Overall, more than two-thirds of adults surveyed in the U.S. believed big brands should promote diversity and inclusion.
