The majority of Danish respondents to a 2023 survey preferred watching lower-cost ad-supported content, with 44 percent of TV viewers and 43 percent of paid ad-free streaming viewers stating to accept some ad-supported content for a reduced price. The share of people preferring to pay for ad-free options was higher among paid ad-free streaming viewers.
