A global survey concluded in early 2024 asked public relations (PR) firms which services had the most growth opportunities that year. Strategic communication and PR consultancy ranked first, mentioned by 22 percent of respondents. Approximately 20 percent selected issues and crisis management, while 16 percent cited social media and digital communications. According to the same study, staff training and retention were among the areas in which PR firms most expected to invest in 2024.
