According to a survey conducted by Ipsos on predictions for global issues, 70 percent of Singaporeans believed it likely that there will be more extreme weather events in the country in 2023 than there were in 2022. The survey results showed that Singaporeans were slightly more convinced of the occurrence of extreme weather events than the global average.
