Asian Americans' beliefs on affirmative action U.S. 2023, by party
In 2023, 64 percent of surveyed Asian Americans who identified as Democrats believed that affirmative action, a policy used to consider a potential student's race along with many other factors during college admissions, was a good thing in the United States. In comparison, only 32 percent of Asian Americans who identified as Republican believed that affirmative action was a good thing.
