In 2013, iOS was the leading tablet operating system in Europe, dominating over 75 percent of the market. In the last decade, iOS has seen its market share reduced to half, while Android has grown in popularity. As of the second quarter of 2024, the market was roughly evenly split between Android and iOS, with Android dominating about 50.5 percent of the market.
