Out-of-home advertising spending in Portugal 2017-2029, by segment
Spending on out-of-home advertising totaled approximately 105 million euros in 2017, with traditional OOH advertising much surpassing digital OOH advertising. In 2020, a severe decrease in out-of-home advertising spending could be observed, reaching only 68.5 million euros. However, from 2021 onwards, estimates point to intense increases in out-of-home advertising, with digital advertising getting closer to traditional OOH advertising. According to Statista Digital Market Insights, in 2029, 116 million euros will be spent on traditional, and 57 million euros will be invested in digital OOH advertising.
