The displayed data on the share of consumers eating a lactose-free diet shows results of the Statista Global Consumer Survey conducted in the United Kingdom in 2022 and 2023. Three of the total four surveys that were used to generate these values were carried out in the three last quarters of 2022 and one in the first quarter of 2023. Approximately 11 percent of respondents aged 20 to 29 in the United Kingdom answered the question "Do you follow one or more of the following nutrition rules?" with "Lactose-free (e.g. no dairy products)".
