As of 2022, the average Indian listener spent over six hours a week listening to music via audio streaming services of which subscription audio streaming accounted for more than four hours. Contrariwise, time spent listening to music on the radio amounted to just over one hour per week. The overall time spent by Indians on music consumption was roughly 26 hours a week on average.
