The exports of EU countries to all other countries of the world (both within and outside of the EU) are concentrated in the product categories of machinery and transport equipment, manufactured goods, and chemicals and related products. Exports in all product categories experienced a surge in 2022, as goods exports returned to growth following the easing of supply chain and other constraints in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic.
