Number of days with a temperature of at least 30 degrees Celsius or heavy precipitation in Germany between 1901 and 2020
Heavy precipitation occurs when large amounts of precipitation take place within a certain time frame, in this case in one day, and of at least 10 mm per day. A hot day (formerly "tropicsl day") takes place when the air temperature amounts to a maximum of 30 degrees Celsius and more.
