Subscription video on demand (SVOD) revenue in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) was forecasted to increase to 1.77 billion U.S. dollars by 2023. Shahid,the leader in SVOD over the past years announced the extension of the content distribution partnership between MBC and Warner Bros. This was in addition to Discovery the allows shahid to maintain its leadership with more kids content on the platform. SVOD revenues was expected to increase the most among the different video and TV services.
