In a survey conducted from July 2023 to June 2024 among Australian consumers about their food consumption habits, around 24 percent of those surveyed reported that they were consumers of dairy substitutes. Just over one in 10 Australian respondents indicated that they regularly consumed meat alternatives. Nonetheless, larger shares of the Australian population do not consume meat or dairy substitutes.
