The electricity production in the United States peaks in the summer and winter months with the most extreme temperature change, when the electricity demand of the country is higher. The U.S. produced around 450 terawatt-hours of electricity in July 2024. By comparison, in April of the same year, the U.S. produced 317 terawatt-hours of electricity.
